I have 2 children that graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes and 1 child still at Lourdes. It's an excellent school academically and my 2 graduated children shine at their current high school! But there is something more that's being taught...between September and June, my children spend more than half
... Read more of their awake lives in school. During this time, children in the OLOL School environment receive a constant dose of values and morals. They are expected to live up to Jesus commandment, Love one another as I have loved you. (John 13:34) It s not only during religion class that this is being taught . Rather, it is something that is being witnessed in the teachers, support staff and even parents helping in the school setting. It is a culmination of this spirit that permeates into the children on a daily basis. And that spirit carries through into their daily lives and is very evident there even into adulthood. Read less

I have 4 kids in OLOL from 7th grade to 2nd grade and they've all gone since Kindergarten. Although you ll never find a school that does everything perfect, the school comes pretty close. The teachers are open to having a dialogue about what s going on with your specific child and how we can work TOGETHER
... Read more to help with the development. As an example, I had one of my children that was reading at a level 2 grades higher than the rest of the class. The teacher walked us through her plan of how she ll be adjusting her approach to continue to challenge them at their level (not the level of the class.) In addition, I had a child that was having a time with the pronunciation of certain words. The teacher walked through the plan she was using to help him with the words, what we could do to support, and also the options she was looking at to bring in a speech therapist if we didn t see improvement over the next couple of months. Most importantly for us, the kids learn about how to look at situations from a Christian point of view. I highly recommend the school for all. Don t let the fact that there is tuition scare you. They have never turned away for lack of funds. Read less

Our children have attended this school beginning with the 4yr old preschool program. The faculty and supporting staff provide an wonderful learning environment and great results! The graduates of Our Lady of Lourdes graduates are very successful at area high schools in which they attend, with a 80+%

The students are prepared academically with an interest in giving back to their community, which is in the events in which they participate and awards they receive. The school continues to enhance the school with additional technology throughout the school, a dedicated resource teacher, enhancements to curriculum and the use of the MAPS testing. The music program has grown significantly with performances throughtout the school year. Our choice to enroll our students at this school has rewarding for our children and provides us great satisfaction with their continued success. Read less
