I have 2 daughters at Silverwood, one in 6th grade, one in 2nd. My 6th grader started in Public school. We were very disappointed with her public school experience-I was doing all the teaching at home. I was going to pull her and home-school her when I heard about an opening at Silverwood. We are thrilled

Also available: a before- and after-school program, volunteer opps, and parent education classes. We are the parents of a first-grader, coming out of a Montessori pre-school/kindergarden school. Silverwood has surpassed every expectation! Our child is nurtured and challenged in every class. She works within a pod of 'like' learners, but no child is singled out because of ability. Each child is

It fosters movement to different buildings, outdoor learning and excellent physical activity. The campus is not only an excellent physical plant, but a large 'family' place. Parent involvement is expected, and a wonderful addition to curriculum. When asked about her first day of school as a first grader, our daughter said, 'I loved the integrated studies class'! We couldn't be more impressed or supportive of Silverwood School. Read less
