Fantastic environment for kids to learn within an intimate classroom setting. Parents are very active at the school and the there is a lot of pride in this unique rural school house.

Such a small traditional school allows teachers to give each student the individual attention they need. A great place to grow.

Trafton Elementary is the oldest continuously running small school in the state of Washington. The kids still go to classes in the original 1912 two story wooden historic building. It is a wonderful small school that has a real sense of community. The kids are getting a wonderful education here at Trafton.

My son was a toddler when we first moved to Arlington. Several people urged us to put our son's name on the list to attend Trafton when he got older. The many benefits of the school ...  Read more

Trafton is such a wonderful school. I wouldn't send my children to any other elementary school. It has a wonderful country setting, and strong parental involvement. The staff is very involved in the students, and even keeps contact with them when they move on to other schools. I have 1 child there now, ...  Read more

Trafton Elemenary is a small school with one class per grade in a country setting. Our children not only have a great learning environment with quality teachers and staff, but also gain a strong sense of community that just doesn't exist in mega schools. The school and teachers welcome parent involvement ...  Read more

Trafton is more than just a school it is a community of learning. My children are gaining a sense of historic preservation as well as how to work within their community unit. I love this close-knit school and the values that it is developing in my children.
