Read what parents are saying about St Lukes SchoolSt. Luke's offers the kind of positive attention students just don't get a a larger school. It is an important part of the regional educational community.
Posted by a community member on 2/7/2012St. Luke's is definitely a treasure in Culpeper community. For the Christian family who wants their child's education to invlolve critical thinking, hands-on activities, movement, creativity and a teacher who can teach to more than one learning style, then this is the best option in town. Your child can get the best education in a safe Christian environment. My experience with St. Luke's is that ther are happy to hear suggestions from parents and when appropriate will seek ways to implement them. Many other Christian schools are uninterested in making improvements. Thank you St. Luke's for providing an unduplicated, high-quality and FUN education for my kids!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMany students are below reading level. One of my kids complains about how they have to do indoor recess when personally all kids should have all of their recesses outside, as long as weather permits. They're cooped up all day. I'm disappointed in the lack of field trips one of my kids gets. 1 of the comments says, title 1, more funds, but I don't see where the funds are going. Kids will come home to tell me they've been harassed, touched, or hit by a student and the teacher always failed to inform me. Unless your kid knows who did it, teachers won't want to provide information. Lack of diversity when it comes to educators. Mainly white females. We need more male educators or educators of different ethnicities or backgrounds. A lot are usually new and from PA. It's like pulling for teeth trying to find out what all your kid is learning about. Always vague answers. Whatever happened to syllabi in school?Parent Review11mo ago - Yowell Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son had a very positive experience at this school, and he learned a lot. There seemed to be a lot of compassion. My son helped a lot of the kids with some disabilities, and he did not feel like there was a lot of bullying going on. I read all of the reviews before he went, which weren't very positive, and I was very grateful that it went really well. This is just our experience, but I thought this was a great school.Parent Review4y ago - Epiphany Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children, currently in 4th, 3rd and Preschool love their school. They have had a wonderful experience with their teachers and classmates. The music program is wonderful and my oldest has had the chance to participate in sports we would not have tried. Their knowledge of the Faith is wonderful and I see them growing to be productive adolescents.Principal Review5y ago - Culpeper Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCCS has been a wonderful learning environment for all three of my children. Very grateful that we were able to provide them this learning foundation. Some of our favorite aspects are the smaller classroom sizes and the fun extracurricular activities.Parent Review11mo ago
