The quality of the teachers is for the most part outstanding. I do wish the guidance counselors were more conscientious about how they scheduled students. They seem to schedule them into classes as they fit rather than as they belong.

Coming from a high school in Suffolk, I must say I am highly impressed with Windsor! We have been extrememly pleased with the things that Windsor has offered for our son. Windsor High School is a very good school. The teachers are very committed to their students. I have had numerous calls after hours from teachers concerned about my sons performance and grades. They have offered extra after school tutoring. The school even offers tutoring after school with transportation

I think Windsor High is one of the best schools a child can go to. I graduated from there in 1978. I have a daughter who graduated in 2002 and another daughter who is as senior this year. They have always been very involved in extracurricular activities such as cheerleading, volleyball, softball,
... Read more class officers, SGA leaders, Beta Club, DECA Clubs, homecoming courts, etc. and have had excellent grades on top of that. The teachers are great and the principal stays very active and involved in everything that goes on there. It has always been a very safe school and one that I am very proud to have been a part of. Windsor does not offer any after school help for students who need extra help. I also feel Windsor does not offer a wide variety of courses that are needed in todays world. This leaves students at a big disavantage in the job market. Way behind times!!!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

visual and performing arts, special talents in visual art, music, dance, drama, or other related studies;
psychomotor ability, such as practical, spatial, mechanical, and physical skills.
Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
