My daughter is in her second year at Kate Collins. In every instance where she had difficulty, the administration stepped in and nipped the problems in the bud. I do agree with prior posts about not being enough for TAG students as my daughter is one too. What I would rate lowest is the parent involvement. ...  Read more

The staff my child has encountered while attending this school for the most part have been a joy to work with. My concern as the parent of a TAG student is that there are major problems with that program and no one seems willing or able to make the changes that are needed.

I attend KCMS and although its not the safest or cleanest school environment around, I feel we do pretty well academically. The staff at this school, esp. the principles and counselors, lack general understanding when it comes to dealing with the psychological well being of the children.
