My children love this school. My son has been there for 5 years and my daughter for 2. My son says he never wants to go to school anywhere else. The academics, I personally feel are above average. ... Read more you expect? RCS doesn't always get it right but no school does. Therefore, as Christians, we must submit ourselves to that authority. If you can't do that, stay in public schools. Our kids have been at the high school and elementary school levels. The academics are fine. Discipline is good. The difference is in the character of thse kids. RCS is building young men and women with high moral character. That's difficult to find in the public schools but prevalent at RCS. Want a good kid? Send them to RCS. Read less

Wow! I can't say enough good about Ridgeview Christian School. It has given my son a whole new attitude. He came from public school. RCS has been extremely encouraging to him. He is happier than I've ever seen him in school. RCS can't offere everything that public schools do, but with the limited
... Read more resources it is doing great. My son certainly isn't deprived. He comes home and does his homework willingly every night. He has many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. He is gifted and RCS has accommodated him with accelerated classes. For the tuition money, it is hard to beat. It's much less than other private schools. The atmosphere is definitely a Christian one. It's a refreshing change from SDMS. I encourage any parent to check it out. Financial aid is available. Almost everyone can afford this private school. Read less

... Read more the school. A lot of the parents complain about minor issues but they are the ones who do not volunteer. In my opinion, no room to complain! The teachers are awesome. They love the children and pray over them. It is evident. I help out in the classes and I see first hand how much they care for the children. Kuddos teachers! Keep up the awesome work Ridgeview. I was not pleased with our experience with RCS. My daughter came out of public school to become a student at Ridgeview. We were promised things the school did not provide, including additional assistance after school hours to help my daughter 'catch up' to the cirriculum (we were told 'all' teachers
... Read more were paid to stay an extra hour to help children in need). As it turns out, her teacher that year ended up being a fill in, because another teacher quit. This 'fill in' had another full-time job and was not able to devote any time to helping my daughter become accustomed to the new academic standard of a private school setting. Because of the cost of tuition, we were unable to afford a private tutor. The school seemed unorganized and 'thrown together. My daughter returned to public schools. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
