I have been going to RTMS for just over a year now, and I am very pleased with it. However, there are a few issues at hand. ... Read more period. We are downstairs for fifth period, and are still expected to come all the way back upstairs, stop at our lockers, and get to class on time. It is virtually impossible to do this on a regular basis without running when teachers aren't looking, and arriving at class out of breath. The other main issue (at least to me), is the binder system. I believe it is just a hassle to teachers and students, and most agree with me. I'm not saying it's pointless; just that it is unnecessary. Read less

I've been at RTMS for almost 3 years and I have to say it IS a good school. I consider it one of the best in the county. It isn't perfect,(some of the teachers could be more helpful and others could stand to let us be a bit more independent) but every school could use some tweaking. I do have to agree
... Read more that the binder system is NOT effective for me personally. I don't use it in most of my classes because most of my teachers don't inforce it. They find it to be a hassle just as much as we do. It ACTUALLY caused more problems than in my previous years at Thompson. Overall, though, it's a really good school with good teachers and even a few great ones. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
