Even though I'm in my junior year this year, this is my second year being at FCHS. Out of the 6 schools I've been to, I highly say that this school is the best. The teachers are really helpful and the other kids there are great. I love it there. I'm going to miss it when I graduate there next year. The ...  Read more

I have recently graduated from FCHS and I could not have asked for a better high school experience. We are an excellent community at FCHS. The learning experience is top notch and all the teachers are excellent. Leaving FCHS at graduation was like leaving home. =]

I went to Franklin County when the football program had very little support. There have been improvements in both the athletic and academics at the school. The thing is, nobody is gonna stand and cheer when the ribbons are cut on the CATCE center. All the attention is put on money spent for sport, ...  Read more

My boys have a forty minute bus ride to school. The administrators were very cold and zero tolerance was promoted after ten days of entering this new world. By the time they got to high school, the quality of teachers had diminished. The teachers would comment on how overwhelmed they were. My boys would ...  Read more

It is rather amusing to me to see people frustrated with the spending on the football program, do you know the amount of players that never in a million years would have made it to college without the support of the athletic programs at FCHS. Franklin County improved the stadium because there are people ...  Read more

I'm not a parent, but a 2004 graduate. I enjoyed my schooling in Franklin Co. Of course every school has a few negative aspects, but FCHS is a great school. There are many opportunities available for sports, hobbies and for future careers. The staff is there and ready to help out as much as possible. ...  Read more

As a 2005 graduate of FCHS, I am currently going to college and I am amazed at how much I was prepared for this phase of my life by attending the high school. We were challenged in every possible way, but it was for our own good. I had a great high school experience. I thought that going to a school ...  Read more

I think franklin county schools are great! I went to franklin county high and graduated in 2002, it was a very well rounded atmosphere, and discipline was not a factor, because there were rules and regualtions, about the million dollar new stadium that is coming, it is needed! I never miss a football ...  Read more

As a parent of two students at Franklin County High, I agree that way too much time and effort is put into Franklin County's Football Program. I ahve also found several of the administrators unconcerned with many aspects of the school. I have witnesses too much favor to students whose parents have an ...  Read more

I think FCHS is a very good school, but I tend to agree with the comment about the Football. They seem to worship the football aspect of the school, which is not the reason for the school. But, overall, when we moved here last year from Northern VA, we specifically looked in Franklin County because ...  Read more
