I have one child who has been at Bon Air Elementary K through her current 3rd grade year. My other child was at Bon Air from 3rd through 5th grade and is now in 7th grade. I have been very impressed with the Principal and teachers at Bon Air. The PTA is great and Mr. Tetlow and Mrs. Lowery are awesome!

My husband and I moved to the Bon Air district after a lot of research about the school and the community. I could not be happier about our decision to move here. Our two children love the school and their teachers. The administration is very helpful and cooperative. You get that 'small town' feeling

Their academic program is excellent and well diversed in all areas of reading, math, language, social studies, art and science. This school stands out from all of the other schools my child has attended because the teachers, school staff, and parents are so caring and nurturing and there is a real sense of community in this school which is so rare in today's current environment. This is our child's 3 year here and we have been very pleased overall with this school and the teachers. Parents are very involved and the PTA is strong. Their art teacher is great! I only have one complaint. The Principal needs to support the bus drivers in their efforts to discipline children on

The school size is small enough that it feels like a family. There is emphasis on test scores, but not without a supportive and encouraging environment to go with it. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
