We have had several kids attend Lamar and they have all had exceptional teachers each year, made solid friendships and have all done well academically moving forward.

My daughter has been going to Oak Ridge Elementary for 2 years PRE K and KINDERGARTEN she learned so much shes also speaking properly and in my opinion its the best school. Unfortunately i moved out of the school zone and i have to look somewhere else. However, her teachers are the best ( Mrs. Bartlett Pre k and Mrs. Roy kindergarten)

HI, this school has a strong amount of bullying from the staff & students. I did not feel save about my small child attending this school because my child would come home and tell me about the bullying, I would forward the info to the teacher/ staff and the teacher/staff would the began to tell my child "they are lying and nothing is happen to them/on others." So this is a Major red flag! I did do a withdrawal because I do not need my child going anywhere that I have trust issue or safety issues surrounding them.

Sojourn Academy is an amazing school with amazing teachers who truly care about each and every child. The faculty and staff feel like family, and the Christ centered classical education can't be beat! If you have been searching for the best private school for your family, look no further. Sojourn Academy is hands down the best!

As a current senior, $35k for this place is absurd. This is not a high school and definitely not a college preparatory one. This school has become a one-sided church. The administration has no boundaries and are trying to be preachers. From kids being baptised in track practice for social media to porn stars coming in and talking to us about Jesus for an entire day, my parents' money was wasted. It is a shame because some of the teachers are truly talented and good at what they do, but days and class time are wasted trying to push a curriculum the school has created based on their own beliefs/interpretation of the Bible and judging students for their "sins on the weekend". Students are taught to shun people of other beliefs (democrats, muslims, mormons, jews, divorce, abortion, ect...) and that they are going to hell. Regardless of my personal or political beliefs, I would never want my child to bully or shun people of other beliefs, this is not only mean but also the opposite of college preparatory. TWCA was a great institution until 2020, the administration shifted and with it the school's morals and priorities. TWCA displays an online presence of a Christian school that makes you feel like you are a part of a family, but that couldn't be further from the truth. High school is where we should be LEARNING and building good habits to prepare us for college, this school fails to do that in every way. The administration is leading out their preacher faniticies rather than doing their job and teaching us the fundamentals of math, science, history and english. I can recite a million verses, but I do not feel prepared for college.

My son is just finishing up his first year at TWMS and we have nothing but positive things to say about it! My son started Kindergarten at a publich school in the Woodlands, but it didn't feel right. We looked at one school, TWMS, and knew it was the right spot for him! All staff and students have been wonderful and he has flourished at this school. Small classes, nurturing environment and as my son describes it "very peaceful."
