I have been very pleased with the education my children are receiving. I also feel the school is very open to parents that want to contribute in making the school fantastic. Students also have a wonderful array of after-school activities ( guitar, piano, dance, basketball, Spanish) to choose from.

I learned about HMII from my son's public school teacher and was advised that it would probably benifit him to attend. I strongly believe that she was right. My 2 sons suffer from ADHD among other health issues as well but have overcome all this @ HMII. I am very proud of my children but am also proud

I love that this school is small and it targets my childs needs. It feels like a family when we walk in there. The teachers are wonderful and very knowledgable and seem very intrested in what my child need. I like that afterschool is available to parents for only five dollars an afternoon. Can't beat

Horizon Montessori II has been a real blessing to our son, he had so much trouble adjusting to regular public school. The personal attention he receives from his teachers and the principal at Horizon Montessori II have made him enjoy his time at school and we can see he is truly learn!

Horizon II is a public charter school in Weslaco. If you have done your research you will notice there is also a Horizon campus in Edinburg/McAllen area which offers after school activities as mentioned in above review. Good school, with strong academic focus. Great extra-cirricualr activities. Multi-aged classroom enriches child's expereince.

The mixed grade setting is a major positive. My children learn a lot from both the younger and older students. This is not something you will find often in a public/charter school setting.

Horizon initially looked like a good school when we went to observe. The staff was friendly and helpful, class sizes were small, gymnastics, dance and paino lessons were offered on site after school.
