... Read more students to advance beyond high school. This is a small town school which is unable to look beyond its border and prepare its students for the world outside of Waco. The school focuses more on its conservative views, discipline, dress code and conformity of the 'very old administration'. If you have a choice to send your child to another school, even a private school, Robinson is NOT the school for you. As a Junior at Robinson High School, i feel that some of the staff go out of their way to discipline their studends. I, myself don't have any problems with some of the rules, however some of the 'policies' are rediculous. But overall Robinson High School has a very clean, encouraging atmosphere for students,

Robinson High School is overall a good school. Its crown jewel is the school band, which is awesome! The student body is rather homogeneous and most students are children of alumni. The sports program dominates in importance, although the other programs offer decent alternatives. Any student who

By the end of the 2003-04 schoolyear 6 of my children will have graduated from the Robinson School District. The last of my children to graduate is a young man that is multihandicapped, but you would not always know that. He has served as football manager for a number of years, as well as basketball
... Read more manager, and he finds time to run track. He has been an inspiration to his school and to his family. But if it would not have been for his fine teachers and the great classmates he could have been a discouraged young man. Instead he has been an inspiration to his classmates as well. Somewhere along the way, early in his educational career he was taught that 'Rockets never quit.' This has been his philosophy all through school, and he will carry that theme throughout his life. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
