There have been some positive changes occuring in the elem. but the fact still remain that admin. and a few teachers seem to have a problem communicating with parents. ... Read more is a shame but it happens. The back stabbing is shameful and I've heard these comments by these individuals. All this does is hurt the children, the very ones the admin & teachers are to protect. I am sure other schools have this issue but it sure is a shame. I wish that our this individuals can be professional & deal that situations as adult's & not like a bunch a middle school students. The teachers at Valley Mills work hard to teach the Valley Mills kids. However, I think they are hindered by economics constraints. ... Read more 20 students is the shameful. With all the school taxes people pay in Bosque County, it seems that our school systems should be just as good or superior to the surrounding communities. I do not know enough about the system to state any legitimate corrective actions. However; I know that with a little ingenuity and common sense we can give the faculty and staff the resources to make their classrooms a place were teaching can be fun for both the teacher and students. Read more teacher's raved about what a wonderful student my child was all year, bright, intelligent, grades were reflective of that, then the last week of school,they sent a note stating they were going to hold my child back because they had not mastered the course work, even though they had passed all state testing. When the principal was approached the answer was that we can hold back any child we wish. On average they are holding back 10 or more kids out of most classes. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
