We have found the teachers and staff at Rice to be excellent. The PTA is fantastic and we are pleased in general with parent involvement. We recently began a search for a new home and the one thing it had to have was to be zoned for Rice so we could stay here!

Considered to be the best public elementary school in town surely does not say much for public education. The children are unruley, poorly spoken and most seem to have defiant attitudes. In Kindergarten, we were very pleased, as we had an excellent teacher. In first grade, we had a teacher who did not spend much time on individual

We found Rice to be out of control. The children were not well disciplined, bullies were rampant and the education was lacking. The administrative staff was very little help and the teachers seemed to not care about our concerns.
