I am so thankful my children have gotten to attend Glen Loch Elem in The Woodlands. It is a down to earth, sweet, caring and academically challenging school. My kids have gotten excellent teachers. The Administration knows every single child by name and learns the names quickly. They truly care.

This school is fabulous! I challenge anybody to find a more caring, involved, and loving staff. Glen Loch has a fair share of diversity at the school and handles it beautifully. Glen Loch is also ahead of most nearby school interms of implementing cutting-edge teaching techniques.

I can't say enough great things about Glen loch school. The principals, counselor, teachers and everyone on staff are wonderful. I have two children that have attended for two years and I couldn't be more pleased with their learning experience. The staff really cares about the students success in school
... Read more and in general. My kids have loved all of their teachers. There is also an economic and racial diversity that exposes my children to real life. Because of this, my kids are are more accepting of kids that are not just like them. They have made many friends with varied backgrounds.( Not likely in most Woodlands Elem. schools. I love this school, and the neighborhood feel of it. The administration is wonderful, along with most of the teachers I have encountered. I am very disappointed in the art program there, though. Glen Loch historically has had a wonderful art program, and the most recent teacher does not send home

... Read more vice principal are excellent - they know all the kids by name, are present at every school function, and set high standards for academics. Parents were very involved in the classrooms we've been in. There are 'class moms' and parents who come in every week to read to the kids or help them with computer skills. I have nephews at Ford Elementary and I can tell you there is a big difference! It was mid-year in Kindergarten before my nephew learned ANY sight words. If they transferred to GL, they would be behind academically. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
