this school is a really bad school. If i had a choice right now and transportation i would move to Belton High School. My parents are also unimpressed by the system of this high school. It would be a way better school if we had a better system and if the students were a little bit more diciplined.

The head principals are new and do not have a clue what they are doing. Both come from teacing IB classes and only care about the privileged in the community. Only the 9th grade principals seem to be in touch with the majority of the student body. Still, the principals do not enforce disciplinary actions

This leads to low teacher moral and a high teacher turn-over rate. Most teachers have alternative certification and are not well qualified for the classroom setting. There are alot of programs offered at Temple High School but the teachers who implement them are not highly qualified. A majority of the programs are weak and do not challange all the students. The student body is large, my child had a hard time fitting in. Some of the teachers were oblivious to their sorroundings. Many of the teachers had an 'I don't care' attitude. Office personnel were rude. This school was not my choice for my child. My child felt that the teachers and staff lacked

The new principal at this school is horrible. He is not present and the teacher morale seems to be on an all time low. He does not seem to support discipline or the dress code set up by the school board. We are not pleased.

My child is a freshmen here. After 6 weeks of watching him study and complete projects, I will say I am very impressed by the quality of education. ... Read more up with, but he has been happy and productive. He has very little time to goof off and is participating in only one extracurricular activity. We, as his parents keep a close eye on him and take an active interest in his education. The teachers I met at open house were professional, enthusiastic, and experienced in their field. I was most impressed to see that when each of them met a freshman parent they immediately knew the student and had some personal words of concern or encouragement to offer the parents. Read less

All I can say is I am so happy my boys are out of that mess of a school. They only care about the football team and that's it. The school is way overcrowded. Nobody wants to send their kids there anymore. They would rather send them to Belton. And also parents need to teach their out-of-control kids

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
