they say you are ahead, you fall behind and learn the not important details. I feel much better in the public high school I am in now. The elemtary was great for and the middle school was way to political with the staff. Read less

My child is in the Pre-K program at St. Laurence. While I have preferences for teachers (some over others), I find that it is a very loving environment. The other benefit is that the children are starting to meet their school friends while they are still so young and innocent. My child loves all her

friends and will probably have a good bound with all of them throughout the elementary years. They are stricter here than at my previous mother's day out program, but they are very loving. It's also a great way to start them on their religious education. My child is getting very comfortable talking about God. The times are not great, but they do have an excellent extended day program which is very flexible. Nice school, but it might not be for every child. It is very structured. Read less

Good location, too much Christianity teachings. Did not feel that my child was getting a balanced education at the school. I was not impressed, I have transferred her to a nearby private school where i am much happier.

I sent my child to Saint Laurence after he had a bad experience in the public school. He could make good grades in public school, but I knew he was not learning. At St.Laurence they gave him the needed help and attention to get him up to speed in just one year. The small class size and teacher involvement

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

- psychomotor ability, such as practical, spatial, mechanical, and physical skills.
Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
