10 Parent Reviews for First Colony Middle School

This was an ok school. The teachers put too much effort on academics that if you joined any type of extracurricular programs, a student would not have sleep for days.

I think FCMS is doing such a good job of teaching me everything I need to grow up and be successful. Everyone at FCMS is very caring and nice and the staff love every student in the building. Way to go bobcats and keep on succeeding!

I'm an 8th grade Bobcat and the past few years at FCMS have been AWESOME!! The teachers are great and (coming from a student in pre-ap classes and GT) they really try to help you get ready for high school. I'd recommend sending your child here it's a really great school.

This is the best school I have seen! My child is doing so well, and the teachers are excellent.

I am very happy with this school. I don't think my daughter could have had a better middle school education. As of course with any school, some teachers are better than others. The band program is outstanding! Go Bobcats!

Academic programs are OK. Teachers are mediocre. Not involved with the academic development of child.

The only rating you can give this school is A+. You will not find a more dedicated group of teachers, backed by a top administration group! The band instructors are awesome! We considered moving several times, but didn't do so simply because of FCMS!The teachers are top quality and care about their students. ...  Read more
