My children are currently in this school. The lack of teacher dedication, compassion, and optimism saddens me. My children have been in this school for three years, each year it has gotten worse. The teachers my children have been affiliated with have been extremely negative. I am a firm believer in

So, when negative comments are made to the child and then repeated to the parent, that is unacceptable. The principal and many of the teacher should be required to have diversity classes. They should also, to look beyond the surface and realize that many times there may be an underlying issue. Read less

All five of my children have gone to Lemm. We have had WONDERFUL experiences with each of them. Is it a perfect school...no, but I don't think those exist. The principal has an open door policy and truly cares about the needs of her students as well as her staff. I have found all of my childrens

The police pull people over because they are BREAKING THE LAW! The school has nothing to do with the traffic laws. There is a sign very clearly posted on Joan Leigh (the road in front of the school) that says 'No left turn' and gives specific times. Do you honestly think that the police will pull people over because they aren't following 'drop off pecedure' ? Read less

My son is in Kindergarten this year and other some occasionally rude staff members (not teachers, auxillary staff members) I think this school is GREAT! My only issue is how ridiculous the drop off procedure has become with parents getting tickets in the morning just trying to get their kids to school!

I can't believe the prior comments. I have had only positive experiences at this school. My children enjoy going here. I volunteer often and I find staff to be excellent and caring. They have added many new teachers. I do think it is too crowded. The hallways should not be used for storage. But most

Both of my children went there in 03-05. My oldest son had the most problems. His first teacher was well rounded and grounded. She had a background in psychology which I think helped her when dealing with my son. His last teacher, I felt got irritated to easy with him which caused him a lot of trouble.

I have had very bad experiences at this school. My child has gone to Lemm on two different occasions...Kinder, and 2nd grade...and both years were hell..Teachers constantly send notes home and suggest ADHD, rather than taking on any challenge. They do not follow up well, are hard to contact, and I have

Administration tends to be close-minded and 'set in their ways' which continues from years past. The environment seems a bit too controlled most of the time. Children should prepare to fit into a particular 'Lemm mold'. This sometimes causes confusion with the children. Kids sometimes can't be kids.
