Very good school but too large. Great responses from teachers and administrators when needs arise to address concerns or bullying incidents. Our wish is for school to focus more on teaching. Need to have better communication to update parents on G/T program and curriculum that it offers. My daughter

A good school for the area, but focuses too heavily on standardized testing (teach to test and need to just teach) and traditional teaching (repetition versus understanding). There are many disturbing reports of bullying with no follow-up by administration to stop the behaviour. Parents don't seem to have a forum to hear from administration and discuss how to ensure school remains exemplary. Top school, but many parents are concerned.

This is an excellent school, with teachers who go above and beyond to teach children in a positive, encouraging manner. The principal has hired teachers who are enthusiastic and energetic. The mood at the school is very positive and it carries through to the children. We've had a wonderful experience

This school has been such a fantastic experience. The principal knows every child by name which is difficult with such a large student body. ... Read more classroom. Emotional well being is just as important as academic success. Children are made to feel successful even if they aren't at the top of their class. The front office staff is the best. You are always made to feel welcome. Parent involvement is extremely high. If you want to dive in, there is somewhere that you will be needed and wanted. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
