And yeah we have many newer teachers but the thing is they are there to learn too and well if help you learn they will find someone else who can. I attend Carl Wunsche and believe that for the most part it is just a normal school. Many times the technology available in the school is not much more than a problem. Many teachers rely on teh laptops for their lesson plans so when the network is down, some classes are at a standstill. As far as teachers
... Read more go, there is an even mix. There are alot of young teachers with no experience, old teachers with no social skills, and a few really talented teachers that have a passion for teaching. CWHS is a wonderful school. It is a professional place where most students have goals in their lives. It has a great environment for learning and it s very safe. There is a great level of maturity in most of the students.

... Read more no idea what they are talkin about. Maybe your GPA is going down because at Wunsche the course are more challenging. Laptops can have their flaws but isn't that the same with all technology. These laptops give us an advantage over students at college because we wont be tempted to be on myspace or facebook and do our work. The school is a relief from the rest of the SISD schools. I'm a 11th grade student at Wunsche and my homecampus is Westfield. In comparison to Westfield the school is nice, but the classes are chaotic, most of the teachers don't know what to do or how to teach, the laptops don't work and our tech guys

This is a normal school, it's not special, the teachers are just as mediocre if not more, the technology doesn't make it any better, the staff is just as uninterested in our learning and more interested in how much money the school is going to make. The school has a lot to offer to those who know how to take advantage of it. Everything you need to succeed in your field is here, from guidance counselors to senior internships. CWHS is a great alternative school for students who already have a career goal in mind.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
