We love this school. The administration is always on top of everything, the teachers are caring and the children are (for the most part) well behaved. Discipline is definately enforced here which makes for a safe environment.

This school has so much to offer young students. My son participated in the team leadership conference offered to 6th graders. This school also has numerous extracurricular activities such as band, ochestra, and jazz band.

Super job, teachers, administrators and staff of Briscoe Junior High. My son is now entering high school with a great attitude and enthusiasm to go into the highest level classes and into a good selection of extracurricular activities. ... Read more in the classroom. The band directors are awesome, challenging, fun and had award winning bands. When my son was hurt before basketball tryouts and so upset about loosing the chance to tryout, your coaches made sure he travelled with the team to keep the books. He was part of the team. Improvement is needed in keeping parents informed when work is missing. Parents can see low grades on papers when searching through backpacks, but there is no way to know if there is work missing. Help us immediately snuff out that bad habit. Thanks for all you have done for my son. Read less

... Read more High School, to take any advanced classes! The teachers there love their students and I think they are very understanding. I also think that this school isn't big on bullies and is mostly a positive place for kids. Also, the councelors are very great with kids and Briscoe has a great 'kid witness-protection program' type thing called 'Crime Stoppers for Kids'! I highly recommend this school parents! Read less

Advanced Placement
