We could not be happier with this school. Our first grader is motivated each day, eager to learn, and challenged in an age-appropriate way. Stinson reminds me of the quality public schools I attended in the midwest in the 70s. There is good organinzation, discipline, and good parental involvement;

We have been at Stinson for 5-years. My youngest is now a third grader. We LOVE Stinson. It feels more like a big family than a school. The teachers are dedicated, organized and creative. Both of my children are flourishing academically and socially. We are very happy at Stinson.

The office staff is efficient, but unfriendly. The principal seems efficient, but no approachable. I think she wants to do a good job, I don't see children coming up to her. She is respected, but not warm. The office manager is the same. You get the picture. The teaching staff is young. Although my

I learn quite a bit helping my 5th grader. The PACE (gifted program) coordinator, Mrs.B, is absolutely lovable and cutting-edge. She pushes the students to think outside the box. WOW, what a wonderful school. The Kindergarten team is OUTSTANDING! They really focus on each child's individual needs. They believe strongly on hands activities and not worksheets to drive their instruction. My child is learning way more than I thought he would learn in his first school experience.

Not good at all! We were very disappointed with the Kindergarten program. We took our child out after we saw no homework coming home. The class pace was very slow. Overcrowding was a big issue along with the teacher not having that many years of experience.

Stinson is a wonderful school. There is a very high level of parent involvement. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem right now is overcrowding. The downside to a great school is that everyone wants to go here. When attendance boundary zones were redrawn last year, no one

There may be plans for expansion, but the site is severely restricted for additions. It is a wonderful school. I would recommend it if the overcrowding were under control.
