We are going to miss sending our child to the school. She is getting ready to to to Kindergarten. Both of my children attended this school and as a matter of fact they were very well prepared for the public school and skipped the grade and got promoted to the first grade. They both started as a todler and attended their primary and elementary class rooms as well. They didn't only do well academically

We put our 4 yr old into WPMS Aug2008. In one week, he was reading phonetically. 6 months later, we enrolled our 2.5 yr old who had been tested with the No Child Left Behind program and was diagnosed with an 18 month delay (speech). Miss Rheena (the director) asked us to give her 3 months, and he

This school is awful they do not provide a well balanced educational background for the children. Nor do they provide nutritional meals. They classrooms are to small for elementary kids. I mean from the toddler room to the pre-k room they learn from sitting on the floor doing classromm work on a rug

This school should not be allowed to have an Elementary classroom. They are not educating the elementary students appropriately. ... Read more writing ( all writing was copied from the teacher) and undereducated my son in reading all year ( despite numerous conversations). After removing him and putting him in the public school he tested at 2-3 reading grade levels above where they were teaching him at WPMS. They told me when I enrolled him at WPMS that they will teach him at his level and have up to 5th grade curriculum in the classroom. They did not teach to his level at all. We learned more in 6 weeks at public school then we did the entire year at WPMS. Stay away! Read less

Our daughters attended WPMS from 18 mos until they started kindergarten. We loved the school! Our daughters learned so much and were much better prepared for kindergarten than their peers. There is little turnover in the teaching staff, and my girls loved their teachers and aides. We very much recommend

I have nothing but great praise for the director and teachers of West Plano Montessori School. I had two children attend this school in both primary and elementary school programs. They not only had excellent education but also, well prepared in all aspects to continue thier education in the public schools.

This is one of the worst schools. My son did a lot better after going to a public school, when he started KG. The teachers do not know to handle kids. Please stay away from this school. I got the same reference from other parents too. I would like to give zero stars if possible.

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
