I absolutely love the school. My daughter is in 1st grade this year and I am very thrilled for her to get Mrs. Mays. She goes above and beyond what most teachers should do. Last year, she had Mrs. Hogue and what a joy she was. I'm looking forward to see what teacher she gets in the years to come.

I had a second grader at Silvercrest (2006-2007) last year. My child's teacher was amazing, and really went the extra mile for my child. You could tell she loved her job and really cared about the children. I don't know about the other grade levels, but the second grade teachers were all very kind

I am a parent of 3 kids that all went to Silvercrest. My youngest child just finished 4th grade on 2006-2007 year. I would not recommend this school at all! The teachers are very inexperienced and the turnover rate is very high. (Lots of first year teachers.)While the principal is nice, she lacks strong leadership skills. The car rider line drop off and pick up is a nightmare.

I think the school is average. My daughter is in Kindergarten, and my son is learning more in pre-school than she is in Kindergarten. The teachers and administrators do not seem to truly care about the children. The principal seems to be a little unexperienced. The PE program is great.

Academic program seems to be okay but when a child struggles they don't seem to get the help they need. Teacher turnover rate is very large. New teachers are left out of the loop - having to figure it out on their own which makes our children left behind. It's like a military school in the hallways
