Prairiland H.S and its staff onlt care about sports and what your last name is. ive gone here my whole life and i would never put my child through the things that happen at prairiland. out of control rumors and favoritism is all that goes on at prairiland even the teachers participate in the spreading

My daughter attends this school and she's in her second year now, and I have nothing but good news to say about the school. She's been a member of the Jr. Honor Society since 8th grade and she does well maintaining her position. I like the recogniton the students receive for the tasks at hand. Thumbs

This school is more concerned about control and less so about education. The children are not allowed hallway passes to use the restrooms and they are not given any time to use the facilities during the day except at lunch. If they are allowed to leave the class for an emergency trip to the restroom,

They have a definite problem with bullying at this school and it is doubtful if the teachers even recognize the problem when it happens right in front of them. This school has a very oppressive atmosphere due to their dedication to controling students vs. educating them to be viable, contributing members of society. The children are maltreated; discipline is degrading and dehumanizing and not aimed at instilling self worth. The class sizes are small but few teachers practice respect for the children, though expect it in return. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
