My son is in kindergarten this year and he loves it! They go to 'specials' each day, such as art, music, and gym. He was here last year in preK and honestly I was second guessing myself. I wasnt sure if this was the right school for him... it is! We love it! The principals are very attentive and involved.

I have 2 children and a niece and nephew attend Menchaca Elementary School. We absolutely love the school. The teachers are wonderful and caring, but also make sure that our kids get a good education. The Prinicpal and Asst Principal are doing a lot of great work to improve the overall school performance.

My daughter has attended Menchaca for the past 3 years as a 1st, 2nd and now a 3rd grader. Each year, she has had an excellent teacher. Everyone at the school is committed to excellence - you will not be disappointed.

My children were in the Early Childhood Program at Menchaca for 2 years. Their teachers were outstanding and gave them individualized help when they needed it. The teachers were always available for consultations and responded with enthusiasm to help or comments from us. The small classes necessary for

We decided to move, however, because we did not feel the general education population of the school was advanced enough to give our children the extra support they will need now that they will be included in the 'regular' classes. Thanks to Menchaca my son has made vast improvements in his education! He is entering 3rd grade and is extremely excited about it. In the beginning of 1st grade he was diagnosed by the school as severly dyslexic. Luckily the teachers at the school stepped in and explained how to help him and really reached

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
