I love the teachers there, they really love the children. Don't mind that they do push for higher achievment if they also take care of all the children who attend the school and not force it on all. My son made a's and b's last yr. in 4th anwas still put in tutoring. He was in 4th doing the same homework

She is more in it for control, power & the stataus of words outside on the building for ratings then she is for the children. My children have attended many schools in many places, Ilove League City, but have never had this many problems w/ a school on resovling problems and handling the children who are doing things wrong just because of the status on thier family income. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with both of my children here. Problem resolution is excellent, standards are high, and my children love going to school there! Highly recommend!

I know that every child has special needs and each parent is new at one time or another - but the absolute lack of assistance in getting issues resolved or questions answered is rather shocking. School is great if you have a advanced student, however if you have a child with a learning disability, the programs are not that great. We have had both.

I am parent of a child who currently attends Ferguson Elementary. The school seems to be more advanced than others, and is a great benefit to children who conform to their mold. Luckily my child does fit their mold, but my heart goes out to the parents whose children do not 'conform'.

This is a top notch wonderful place for parents as well as children! The administration is wonderful, the staff is very professional and caring, the parents are very supportive and active! I've had 4 children go through and have had nothing but great experiences!

Poor behavior management practices. Ferguson is a good school for high achievers and compliant children, but children with neurological differences and any challenging behaviors are swept under the carpet.

Terrific and challenging school. A very wealthy community without the desirable diversity. However, most children are held to a high level of performance and expectations for them are very high. Unfortunately there is little continuation at the intermediate and high school level.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
