She is extremely visible (MUCH unlike my other school experiences) and is very open to considering student thoughts (a student once suggested that a bike rack was needed in the back of the school, and she ordered one right away). The student body is vastly more accepting than any other high school I've encountered. I also felt very safe at this school. Fights were a rarity, unlike other nearby high schools. Sports are progressing very well, and the arts are outstanding! Read less

Life is good at Lehman, that is if you keep ignoring the really bad stuff. The principal thinks that if she doesnt acknowledge what is going on then it really isnt happeninig. Most of the faculty are really great and interested in the kids, then you have the rest of them, who still act like kids themselves.

the teachers here actually CARE about the students attending a high school! that is one thing every one notices above everything else! sports may not be great but they are definately improving! although many students complain about rules, etc. they are neccesary and are what makes this school so structured.

My Daughter Attends Lehman High and has been since her Sophomore yr. She is a Senior and will be graduating this yr. The School is fairly new and I think Faculty/Staff are doing a tremendous job with the Students. I have always received immediate response from Staff and feel that the School is academically

... Read more school is very safe and is has a comfortable environment, but with any school these days, not one is truly 100% safe, but Lehman really excels in the field of safety. The school is a school to send your children, but only if you intend to stay fully involved with their studies and class organization. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
