... Read more if your child is GT, the RELA teachers here fight to keep that curriculum. AP classes aren't enough because there are kids who need the varied learning that this school offers. The extra clubs are wonderful too, from chess, to band to athletics and cheer. Your kid can find the right spot and everything has a value - not just football. I just finished school here at Creekwood and it was awesome! The teachers there are so nice and always challenge you to do your best. It's the perfect school to go to if your looking for challenging academics and fun all at the same time! The extracirriculars are amazing and so is the cheer squad. I

Creekwood, while an exemplary school, I believe is academicaly challenged. Some of it may not be their fault, they seem to 'teach to the test.' My child, A's and B's, does not understand how lessons connect and relate to each other, especially across subjects. Life applications of subjects and lessons

Creekwood is an excelent school on the outside. When you dig in there are some problems that need to be fixed. The school needs to be renovated AGAIN and maybe change the administration team. There are also some real burnouts as teachers.

Creekwood has just been renovated but it still looks bad. The assistant principals are not that involved and there are some real burnouts who need to retire. The band and things like that are really good but academically they could improve. They do not reall prepare the kids for Kingwood High as well

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
