The front office staff is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I have left repeated message at the office to be passed on and it seems like nothing gets done, or it s a different story each time you call to inquire about a situation. This morning my husband, while at work recieved a phone call informing him that there would be an Awards Ceremony that morning and that my son would be receiving two awards. This is indictive of what we have experienced with this school. There is little to no effective communication between this school
... Read more and parents. The front office personnel are extremely unreliable when it comes to getting accurate and timely information out to parents and are not helpful when you visit the school. The staff seems to not be familiar with their own procedures and often waste your time trying to figure out what needs to be done when questions or requests are given to them. Repeated requests are usually handled different each time you address the staff. And to top it all off, the staff is rude most of the time. Wish my kids did not have to attend this school. Read less

... Read more led me to let him remain at Timber Ridge. Since then, I have had very little to no problems. Overall, Timber Ridge is a very advanced school compared to other places in the area, including some of the Christian private schools. Thanks Timber Ridge for your spirit of family and nurturing. My son has gone to this school the past two years. We have loved it since day one. His teachers have been wonderful. I've also found the staff helpful. The school does very well academically. The kids come from mostly military backgrounds. The neighborhood is great. All around a wonderful school.

My child was in the 2nd grade here for the 2007-2008 school year the front office personnel are very rude. The lack of communication on the part of my child's teacher was horrible. We are considering not sending our child back to this school for the next school year and look at other options.

This school would be perfect if the front office staff would take a course in customer courtsy. Other then the unhappy faces you are greeted take a look behind them because the teachers are great and the new assistant principal is wonderful.

This is the second year our daughter has attended Timber Ridge. I am very impressed with the principal as well as most of the teachers. The academics are great and facility is wonderful. Being a military town, parent participation is normally good, but this at this school it has been wonderful.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
