... Read more get to know other students and taking action if they believe that a child is being bullied. My daughter needed dyslexia tutoring and her two teachers rearranged their schedules to accommodate her needs. The counselor is amazing and is so kind. They may be strict but I believe children need clear instructions and they are defiantly taught how to act. The high expectations keeps this school in order and with high scores. We love it. I think this school is great! We moved from Overseas in 2005 and this is my kids' first public school, having attended private schools all their lives. We were a bit apprehensive initially at the size of the school, but we soon got over that when we saw the quality of education. The teachers are wonderful

I know most parents do not like the discipline, but I believe that kids need to be disciplined from early on to avoid disasters later in life. We were very fortunate that Exley was built so we would not have to go to Creech anymore. The principal and assistant principal hassle the parents every time they visit, as if they were terrorists. Many parents have referred to them as the Creech Crabs.

Creech is a great school. I am speaking from both a parent a a teaching point of view. I teach at one of the feeder schools and the students are well prepared. As with all campuses there are issues, however the administration is awesome and is willing to work with the parents. Especially the Principal
... Read more herself, a wonderful lady! On the whole my kids have had some great teachers, and if there are problems the teachers are willing to discuss them. The PTA is very involved and the overall feeling is good. They are strict, and I may not agree with all the rules, but no one is ever please 100% of the time. I can place my kids in pretty much any school in KISD because I work in the district and this is where they go, I think that says it all. Read less

Being part of Katy Independent School District, Sue Creech enjoys A+ curriculum. We are impressed by the level of expectations our children are required to meet. We have a fifth grader who is in E-classes, which are meant to prepare him for AP courses in high school. That was something! A fifth grader

Our daughter in 4th grade is a member of the Katy Elementary Honor Choir, a districtwide choir whose membership is obtained through audition. Year round, there are many activities in the school which supplement student learning. International Festival, Pajama Night, Sock Hop, 100th day of school, Reading Breakfast, Lunch with the Principal...there seems to be an activity every week! Parent involvement is superb. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
