... Read more an atmosphere of constant change and searching. Each year days of valuable preparation time are lost due to meaningless meetings and shuffling of classrooms. New curriculums drawing from faddish trends instead of reliance on proven success are adopted and then scrapped in favor of yet newer fads. Basic skills such as spelling, reading, and math are crammed into rigid schedules that allow little flexibility in meeting individual student needs. Special remedial programs are adopted to address the skill shortcomings, only to have the programs staffed by teachers with little classroom experience. I am so very happy to say that both of my chlildren are going to MPE as I did. There are so many of the same teachers and my children love them as much as I did. The teachers keep me involved and inforned, what else could I ask for? Keep it up MPE; your doing a wonderful job.

My daughter was lucky to go to Memorial Parkway Elem. School from kindergarten through the grade. She had excellent teachers. I think we can never appreciate schools and teachers enough, if you stop and think about it they are taught so much more that just to read and write. They are given the start
... Read more to a promising future. All this starts in elementary school. I will be forever grateful to MPE for giving my child the best. We still run into her PE Teacher and he still calls her by name. She is successful in sports due to being taught different sports in school. She also took Choir is school which got her started with music and now is in her 4th year of Band. We were always kept informed on our children and could visit at lunch any time. My kids have attended this school for many years and I have been very happy with it. The teachers they've had have all been excellent. They also have a great librarian that has great lessons for the kids. There is good parent involvement, although I believe it could be better. The kids at the school

I have been pleased with the teachers that my child has had over the last two years. Very consistent and caring teachers. They have sign language class that is free from first to fifth grade and they also have spanish available for a fee. I wish they more after school programs like science and reading.

Advanced Placement
