As a teacher in the Houston area for 5 years, I have finally found a place that practices what they preach! As teachers, we are taught to teach in a 'positive' way - rewards, praise, etc. As teachers, however, we need that praise ourselves! It's so wonderful how positive and encouraging this school is

I rate this school a 10!! I have taught for 17 years and McFee is by far the best school I have ever worked in. The administration is amazing and extremely supportive! Kudos to Donna Harden, the Principal! She runs a tight ship and has only the highest of expectations of everyone from student to staff!

I am a proud parent of a McFee 5th grader. The rating that I have given this school is well deserved because of the dedication of and determination of the faculty. Initially upon receiving another re-zoning letter for my child, I was very upset. This was going to be the third time that she was sent to

I understand areas being built up and zoning had to happen but it was difficult for my daughter to understand it. I am grateful for the staff at each Cyfair school that made the transition easy for her and that kept her learning enviornment exciting. With that much change some kids can get easily discouraged. My hat is tipped to McFee, Duryea and Walker. Excellent job!!!! Read less

My kids have been going to this school since it opened last year and they absolutely love it. Of course, since they are so happy, I'm happy. The teachers and administrators have very high expectations both for behavior and achievement, in spite of the fact that the kids they work with can be very difficult.

This is absolutely one of the best schools any child could attend. From the time you walk into the building, the entire staff -- from the principal, APs, counselors, teachers, instructional staff, everyone! -- works tirelessly on behalf of the kids. This school has many students who don't receive much

Don't get me wrong, though -- these people have very high expectations and expect the kids to work hard, do their part, and to behave. This makes some parents mad (like the one who commented below) since neither they or their kids are allowed to take the easy way out. That's the kind of school I want for my kids -- and you should, too! Read less
