McMeans is the worst school that my son has ever attended. The bullying that he has had to endure has been so bad that we had to involved the Katy ISD police twice already. The administration has been ineffective at stopping the bullying; thus, we had to pull him out and put my son in private school.

Because the head principal once worked at 'A school', it feels like a military school when you walk through the front doors. It is extremely unreasonable when it comes displinary measures. It is unfortunate because without these people in charge or the strict rules, there is some definite potential for a good middle school. Read less

The school is very nice. The teachers are ok. They expect way to much of the children here academically. The amount of homework is absurd. The punishments seem quite harsh and unfair, but mostly unreasonable.
