I sent my child to Winborn after strategically picking the school out. I was so excited for her to be going to such a great school. I was not disappointed! DWE is awesome, its a great sense of community and they really care about their kids. My daughter had an excellent 4th grade teacher that was

At first she was glad to home but now she misses Winborn. I'm working on going back! I've never seen my childs grades higher and her more enthusiastic about homework. We miss DWE and Mrs. Byrd. Hope to see you again next year Read less

My kids have attended this school for the past 4 years and I find it disturbing that the principal is so uncaring to the parents that have been helping the school with the volunteering. The office staff is somewhat nice when but most of the time they are very standoffish. I have not seen so little

I wish they would impliment the love of learning instead of pushing constantly for the TASP scores in the students. Tutorial is based on many children just so that they can score well on the TASP. I truely believe that is time we get another principal Read less

I must say that my child really enjoys Winborn and she loves her teacher, however the administrative staff is horrible. All the way from the reception desk to the nurses office I have found them discourteous any time I have interacted with them. They have also failed to keep my child engaged and challenged.

I moved to this area for the sole purpose of my daughter going to this school because of their exemplary status and high test scores, however, I have found that the trade-off wasn't positive in all aspects. Next year I will be sending her to a private school. Read less

It would take too long to say how disappointed I was with the so called leadership at this school. The only thing my children learned was how to take the TAKS test.

I could not possibly imagine a better place to work. Winborn is my family. Even in a fast growing district like Katy, our school has only lost three teachers to other Katy schools in the past three years. Our principals support us a 110%. We know that we can call our principal at any time day or

Diane Winborn elementart is an awesome school. Many schools say that kids are their number one priority; but, at DWE, they really mean it. Ms. Ricks, Ms. Odom and Mr. Jackson (admininstrators) are wonderful and caring people. I haven't ever heard a parent speak a bad word about the school as a whole.
