I graduated from Cinco Ranch High School 3 years ago and never realized how blessed and privileged I was to be there. While a student, it was quite tedious and stressful with a large work load, but it is nothing compared to college (I am now a junior at the University of Texas). The school is AMAZING

It was hard at the time, but in no way, shape, or form would I be where I am today without the motivation and influence of CRHS and the knowledge that I learned there. At college, I found that I was definitely ahead of the game. One of the best high schools in Texas! Read less

i am currently a senior at Cinco Ranch High School. I agree with the other users who say that we have way to much homework and competition in the school for excellence in education, but when i look back upon these years i realize that it has only benfited us. Is that not what the real world is all about?

My daughter lasted a week at this school and I took her out before her confidence was completely destroyed. It is like a giant learning factory. I currently attend Cinco and I have enjoyed every minute of the past three years. Great school overall. As in all of Katy ISD, sports and especially football, take precedence over almost everything - with the exception of the incredible choir, orchestra, and especially band and marching band program begun in 1999 when the school opened. The Fine Arts teachers do not receive the

Band in itself taught the almost 400 kids more about character and self-esteem and respect than did any other program. Terrific school. Some obnoxious and pushy parents, and a weaker administration now than the first 4 or 5 years. Music staff incredible - especially the first 5-6-7 years. Katy ISD needs to realize that Academics and the Fine Arts (esp Music) has shaped the lives of a few thousand students at Cinco.
