My daughter was in DoDDs school in Europe and did not fare well. Since she has been in Ingleside her attitude to school has changed, she is confident and wanting to learn. So far I have only praise for this school. She has been through 6th-8th grade and is now a freshman.

Being a former Student and now having my child enrolled into the district I can say that the small town mindset is in effect. There aren't nearly enough choices for students. Most high schools have several languages to choose from and a debate class as well as ROTC. Ingleside only offers Spanish as a

Most of the money for extracurricular activities is being spent on football. Its a shame that there isn't more support for soccer. As far as the academics and teaching goes, yes you will find that many teachers are genuinely supportive and care about their student's education. Read less

This High School is one of the best in the area. The superintendent is one of the finest

The poster from November seems to think that not to give to the biggest fund generators in the state of Texas is a shame, not true. Besides, if the poster would look into his/her comments a little closer, he/she would see that funds were generated for improvements for all athletics through booster club efforts/contributions. This school has gone downhill by the way the kids act and dress, with very few progams and things to get involved. They spend money on the footballl team but won't put soccer in which only cost them 5,000 before they took it out. Most teachers seem to have very big classes which make's it hard for the

As a former student I believe I can give an accurate description of what the school is like. There are many members of the staff that are very kind, and genuinely concerned about the student body. But the student body it self is, disapointingly, disfunctional at best.
