I love that I can access grades online but needs to be update more quickly than it is, not blaming the teachers because they have enough to contend with but frustrating for a parent try to discipline their child because I have to email teachers to find out if grades are correct or missing assignments

Although all of the teachers have parents' emails, they NEVER provide updates or any correspondence whatsoever throughout the entire year regarding your child's progress. Where is the parent/teacher communication? This school needs to enforce standardized school clothing and get a handle on the kids

His voice was heard when he mentioned elective courses he and his classmates wanted to be made available to them. I can't say enough nice things about his school. He is so happy. I believe that Hutto Middle School has little regard for disabled students and students with health issues. The school needs better plans implemented to assist students who have to miss days due to chronic ongoing illness (such as diabetis, cardiac, asthma, etc.) The school fails to allow the students
... Read more to make up work nor do the teachers return multiple phone calls and emails from the parents who want to set up conferences with them. The student with health issues is penalized. In addition, the school needs to set up an emergency plan for those students who may need emergency care in a health crisis. If a student is sent to the nurse for their diabetic or asthmatic condition, there needs to be a back up plan in place if the nurse is out so that the student can be monitored, provided with the medication, etc. This is critical! I believe that the Principal at this school has some may be having trouble because Hutto has grown so fast. He seems to have trouble even getting to know his students. I really believe there are some outstanding teachers at Hutto Middle School.

While sometimes it did seem a bit crowded, and some of the on course classes weren't the best , but theres a majority

Advanced Placement
