Your child is merely a face in the crowd at TMS. While obnoxious behavior may be typical of middle school students, it is rampant here and really undermines the educational experience. Teachers have very little control over their classrooms, and a student can easily fall through the cracks. Not impressed.

Timberwood in my opinion sets the standard for what our children deserve. The leadership is focused on the children,they are the priority. Excellent teachers with a passion for encouraging the kids to dream and reach for their goals. The teachers and staff believe in these kids and they tell them so.

I was raised in a poorer district than that of this, and have found, while some of the things done here are great for the students well being, others are a bit offcolor for me, but, that is just me. I believe TMS is a good school. However, I believe it would be better and you, as a parent, would feel more comfortable with the school, teachers and overall environment, if you become a volunteer. I had fears of the school at first, but by volunteering some of my fears have diminished. I believe

Successful schools are built by staff, faculty, parents, students and the community. Get Involved! Even though you may think that your child does not want to see your face at the middle school, believe me I think they are relieved that you are there. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
