I have 3 children at Willbern Elementary. The teachers are fantastic...caring, supportive and willing to work with the parents above and beyond. The staff is always coming up with ways to motivate our students. There is fun mixed with learning, which is so important for elementary children.

Both of my children are attending Willbern. One in 5th other in Kindergarten. I love this school. No school is perfect, but my approval is 90% positive. I had the pleasure (and headache) of being on the PTO for years. I'm not any longer, but support them 100%. We would love more parent involvement.
... Read more I know the number of parents that were involved when we started verses now has tripled (PTO works very hard to get our parents involved). As for our Principle, I could not be happier with the change. She absolutely is a wonderful person. She is so excited and happy to be at Willbern. No there is no extracurricular activities. I would like to know what other schools have. We could work on that. If you are looking for a good organization Cy-Fair Sports Assoc. is great. Teachers A++. In 6 yrs have nothing bad to say. This is an excellent elementary school. My daughter went there from Kindergarten through 5th, and we were very happy all the way through. No school is faultless all the time, but I would certainly send another child of mine to it. They teach music classes but have no orchestra and only a 5th-grade

The only complaint we have is that in PE classes the teachers were only interested in the kids that were in extracurricular sorts; if you weren't, they didn't know you existed. Academics are excellent and the teaching is very good. Parental involvement is welcomed and encouraged, and the PTO is very active. Read less
