I am a student currently attending Pershing. I think this is a very good school and racially diverse. I am in 8th grade and already have 2 high school credits (algebra and spanish). I will be sad when I leave. I have made great friends and had exellent teachers that actually helped me when I was struggling.

This school is AWESOME! The teachers are very knowledgable and show their love and passion for teaching. I went to this school for all three years, and it has improved each time. Pershing Middle School has the most, and the newest technology in all of HISD! Only Pershing has it, and I'm am very proud

I love Pershing. I have so many good friends there. The teachers are great and really help when you don't understand something. The administrators are great, but strict. The fine arts department is amazing. I love the block scheduling, it gives you more time to do your homework. I will be sad to leave

My son went to this school a couple of years ago and had a terrible experience. I found the cluster of teachers for his classes to be extremely harsh and negative, not an encouraging word was ever spoken by none of them. The principal was of no help whatsoever when I complained to him.

I have attend this school for about 2 years now and i would have to say pershing middle school is the most pothetic middle school in hisd. My older sister also attend this school for her 6th-8th grade years and she also thought this school was very how I would say pothetic also. I'm in specail ed. math

The kids success is only as good as their cluster leader and my son had a horrible one.Everyone was aware of her terrible personality-bad attitude towards the kids and very rude.Took my complains to the principal but he backed her up no matter what she did.He is not a good leader and this school is not

They have people in charge that have no business being in the positions they have.They can have the most beautiful building in Houston-they need to change teachers and the principal. Read less

As a student going to this school, I would like to say they put pressure where needed and are sympathetic when needed. this school is a great school, if you hang out with the right crowd (its really not that hard to determine which crowd is 'safe') there are the occasional fights and breakouts but hey,

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
