This is my child first year at Armand Bayou, we have loved it! The teachers care about all of the children. The standards are high in all areas. Mrs Machnaik really enjoys and wants parent involment. She really focuses on reading from day one. The reading level of your child is very important to her.
... Read more She started reading contracts from day one of the school year. I am at the school a lot and I see the teachers and staff are so caring to the children. My child is a little behind in reading. We thought their might be a learning disability. We went through the process with Mrs Machniak help. After all the testing there was no learning disability. I feel that it done shiftly with Mrs Machniak help. She is a very involved teacher. Most of the teachers I have come across have years of experince. The is a great school. Read less

It's a great school for children of Pk-5th grade. Under the leadership of the Principal plus the outstanding performance of all teachers and staff, the school has won the State Examplerary School in the past few years. The school has the highest TAKS scores among the CCISD last year. But, level of

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
