I like the teaching and food for this school but the bullies too many bullies I hate bullies so much i keep getting bullied I got bullied 5 times i even got my pants pulled down while running the track!

Albright middle school is a federal title 1 school with over 76 percent of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. Overall the Alief school district is not that impressive-at least Petrosky Elementary and Albright Middle School. Both principles have not taken certain issues with teachers very seriously. This school has wonderful academic programs. It's good in extracurricular actvcities. And parent involvement is awesome.

This school is a mixed bag. Some teachers are excellent professionals, interested in quality interaction with parents and able to intuit and address individual student needs; some are so caught up in their own ego that they don't care about individual children or about parental concerns. The school appears to have lost the basis for a strong academic foundation. Except for the chosen few, many average or below average students are not encouraged to excel past their current academic level. There are not enough programs that enhance the academia experience. * In 2010-2011, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was used to test students in reading in grades 3 through 9; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in English language arts in grades 10 and 11; in mathematics in grades 3 through 11; in science in grades 5, 8, 10 and 11; and in social studies in grades 8, 10 and 11. TAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The grade 11 Exit Level TAKS is a high school graduation requirement. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
