I have been at Haltom for 3 years and I have to say that as far as administration goes, it keeps getting worse! I love all the teachers and the students but the principals need a severe reality check. They care more about making you jump through hoops than helping you get an education. So far in the
... Read more last month I have missed 9 class periods because I was in the office for forgetting to put my id back on after athletics and little minor slip-ups like such. Well anyway, the teachers are great! Since I was a freshman the fights have decreased rapidly (makes for a boring school life), and there are no racial/ethnic issues at all. The fine arts and athletics are both great- I have spent years in each! umm the food is horrible! the bathrooms could be cleaner. Could be less rodents. I still love Haltom! Read less

i used to go to Haltom and i have to say it is the worst. the teachers and priciples have to walk around with walkie talkie's and it is only getting worse. the school has good parts in it dont get me wrong... but the school as a whole is terrible. there are way too many fights and too many drop outs!

I am so very tired of this school. Some of the teachers don't care wether their students learn or not. A few of the teachers will even cuss in class which is not setting a good example or being a good teacher. The parents have absolutely no say so when their child gets into trouble . These are our kids

Not much to say. The school is an amazing school, despite many people's opinions. Theatre at Haltom is phenominal. There's nothing better than it. Beauty and the Beast was fantastic. The choirs are amazing, this last year's POPs concert was terrific. And the band is also a great part of Haltom. As

For the entire 4 years at Haltom High School there were only a couple of days that I missed. There were always activitites that involved academic programs, sports, and even my parents. I only hope that every other student from Haltom had the same experience that I did. Today I am an Office Manager

Haltom High School has the best theatre program that I've ever seen. I couldn't dream for a better program for the students to get involved in. Mrs. Norris, Mrs. Dampman, and Mr. Zolidis make Haltom High School what it is.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
