I am a student of South Garland and I have to admit that South Garland isnt all that dandy but the teachers do what they can to help us students as much as they can, even with the kids that dont want to learn. I have seen teachers go beyond their limits to help others out. South Garland to me is a high

I graduated from South in '04. I must say that anyone who had trouble learning there, did so out of his or her own fault. The teachers there did their best. From what I saw, it was the students themselves who refused to learn or totally skipped school just because they didn't like the 'classroom'. As

I'll admit, my worst subject was Algebra - I failed Algebra 2 the first time. But the second time that I took it, with Miss McGee, I passed with a 90 average. Other great teachers there include: Ms Hipp(English), Ms Emmons(Art), Madame Milkowski(French), and Mr Varassi(Science). Also Ms Briggs, the light counselor, is a wonderful person to talk to if you're having trouble with anything. Read less

I am a SGHS grad from 06. In my opinion, the teachers had some difficulty meeting the needs of the average student. The atmosphere at times made learning impossible. I contribute this to the teachers inability, or refusal to provide a conducive learning environment. However, there were a few oustanding

I am one of the Choir Directors at South Garland. I was noticing that the reviews are a little dated, but I wanted to let parents and students know that the Fine Arts are STILL strong here.
