My daugter has had a great year at Lyles she is going into the 8th grade and from her 6th grade year she has excelled tremendously going from 1 honors class to all honors. Great and hard working teachers and principal.

My child had a wonderful experience at Lyles. The teachers really worked with us and were happy to answer every email, every question and a couple of them came to extra activites outside of the school to see my child in those activities. Several went above and beyond with communicating with me. Actually

I don't understand why the students aren't allowed to bring text books home. If they bring only review sheets home, how are the parents suppose to help them with their homework. There should be some improvement there. Another thing is the tutoring sessions. The parent should be notified ahead of time
... Read more so that we can make provisions for having them picked up. Waiting until the day of tutoring isn't a good idea. It leaves the parent wondering if there really is tutoring or if the student is getting into something else. Read less

My son had problems all through school with not getting his homework and I felt like the teachers didn't really care if he got it or not. I feel like the teachers should put forth a little more effort and at least act like they care. I was not kept informed of what was going on.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
