My daughter enjoys particpating in basketball and band, as well, both of these programs are a must at Bussey and run by very enthusiatic instructors ans coaches. The school is always clean and tidy, the meals they serve are outstanding and the office staff is courteous friendly and eager to help in any way they can. This is our first year at Bussey and I will have to admit, having a 6th grader in Middle School with all those bigger kids was a very scary thought. I LOVE BUSSEY. My son has been there 3 years and my daughter starts next year, then I have 2 more to go through MS, they will also go to Bussey. I am looking forward to the next 9 years that I'll be a Bussey parent. The teachers are great, the principal is the best, they really care about the students.

My personal opinion is that Bussey gets a bad rap sometimes because it is so old and not in the greatest neighborhood. It could used some remodeling but even without it is a great school and I look forward to my next child attending there in another year! Read less

The teachers and staff at Bussey are so good to the kids. My son has had some really wonderful teachers over the past 2 years. The principal is a caring guy and has the best interest of the students in mind. I can't say that for all the other schools my children have attended. This staff is so helpful!

I think Bussey is a great school. It takes the parents staying involved as well as the teachers caring. Advanced Placement
