Mrs. Lincecum is the best English teacher I have ever had the privlege of having. She helped me to be prepared for college and the work load that was to come from that.

Because the school is not huge, there are many opportunities to partcipate in more than sport or activity. Children don't get lost in the crowd either.

The quality of the academic programs are fantastic. Music, art, sports, and other extracurricular activities are readily available to all students. Parents at this school are very involved in their childs schooling and supportive to their learning needs.

I have 4 children in the Franklin Schools and I agree with the last name issue. It does not matter how much money you have, it matters if you are at least a 2nd generation Franklinite. Franklin High School has an extremely high percentage of graduates move on to higher education. In regards to the 'last name' remarks made by a previous critic, simply not true. I imagine it doesn't matter where or what they do, they always are being treated unfairly.

I've gone to FHS now for 5 years, and would say that it has promoted better teaching skills and techniques by making it fun to learn. Overall I would say that FHS is a great school.
